the_bard: ETA: What I mean to say is I was gonna wait for Arma II (GOG) to go on promo with a deeper discount. I could take the 3.74 USD I was gonna put towards Section 8 and move it to the Arma II fund. :D
ARMA II is one of those "frequently discounted games" on GG. Any DRM has been patched out, if that is the issue. So you might wanna keep a lookout for it on GG.

gyokzoli: G2play? I suggest everyone to stay away from shady sites like G2play.
avatar
trusteft: I've got a couple of games from them without any problems...
G2play is not an official reseller, in fact they don't have the rights to sell these games. Also, their sources are shady. If Valve or EA bans your account you can't blame anyone but yourself. I'm not saying that ban will happen for sure, but can happen and then nothing will save your Steam or Origin account.

They can't take your complete account over this. They can remove the games without compensation, but that is just about the worst they can do.
This Polish site has cool promo for THQ games (most is steam stuff) for something around 3$ you can get Space Marine, Homefront, Red Faction Armageddon, Dawn of War 2

Get this. Nuff said. You can get Guns of Icarus Online for only $5. That's just awesome.

EDIT: Nevermind. Apparently it's just the beta.

EDIT2: Does the Stronghold Collection on Gamersgate have any sort of DRM?

Doesn't actually need running Steam to run, but the second expansion requires that POS custom activation thingie by Stardock.

So steamworks is completely optional ? And can you play it DRM-free, apart from that custom activation?

Yeah, I've got GC2U on Steam (much cheaper though), and the games don't require the client to run. Plain GC2 didn't even need the activation.
