Gazoinks: Wow, so Steam has their big Summer sale, follows it up with an Indie sale redux and then has ANOTHER big sale (not as big as Summer, obviously, but still). Sheesh. Wonder if they're trying to shift attention from GG's sale.

EDIT: Huh. If you pre-order Dishonored you get Arx Fatalis for free? That seems... random. Oh, it was the company's first game.

SimonG: They are doing that every year with the quakecon. Lucky for me, as I have just discovered that I missed Morrowind last sale :-).

Well, the complete Quakecon package isn't even avaible here, because Skyrim and RAGE are region restricted, deal on Skyrim is rather lame, so I couldn't care less.

Ha, I got the Quakecon pack a year or two ago, I think. I own everything in it except Skyrim (bleh), Rage (can get Anarchy Edition for five bucks off Newegg...) and a couple of Fallout New Vegas DLCs.

I think I'll get the DLCs, I missed 'em during the Summer Sale.

Tallima: I can't speak for every PC owner, but my Dark Messiah worked without a hitch on some really old hardware and my newer system. It's rarely I play through a whole game these days, but I played through it twice in a row it was so fun. (I think I am a minority, though)
thanks for the heads, up. Yes I read it _can_ be a mixed bag. I am just waiting for the demo to finish D/L. But I guess I'll get anyway - €2.50, really... :)

That is because Dark Messiah runs on the Source engine, which is VERY scalable.

ok, for the demo I got the already reported crashed and stuff. But I really dig the melee combat. Really worth £2.

PS: and I just D/Led a 5GB Demo for 20 minutes of Gameplay? WTF!

Dark Messiah is one of those games that is on my "MUST COMPLETE BY THE END OF 2012" list. I got about halfway through it back in 2007 and never got around to completing it. Shame on me, I know. I frickin' loved it what I have played of it.
