Etdn: The Kingdoms of Amalur Collection is $28 at 60% off at Gamersgate . Anyone know if it's worth getting?
orcishgamer: Does it have the DLC? If so, maybe, it should be even cheaper for the holidays this fall, though. Don't pick it up now unless you intend to play it soon.
It has the two main DLC packs, but not the weapon DLC pack.
It is certainly worth the 60% off price. But bear in mind it adds to Origin, not Steam.
If you want it on Steam, you'll need to buy it on Steam. However, as 38 Studios are responsible for the Steam version, it may not get any discounts anymore due to 38 Studios no longer being around to give permission -- that is, if Valve don't already have a provision in their distribution agreement that allows them to discount whenever they want.
The discount is possible on GamersGate as EA are the publisher on that one. It's ultimately up to you whether you want to risk waiting for a better sale that may never come.
