Yep, a good game. The menu should have been adapted for the PC but otherwise, it was a fun game (except for the last mission which was completely not stealth).

stealth system in Velvet Assassin is binary. It's not fun when theres mostly only one way to make a stealth attempt.

I never liked Splinter Cell enough to play more than one mission. I always hated stealth based games and elements of them in other games. Always. (apart perhaps from Alpha Protocol)

Yet, few weeks ago I started a youtube Let's Play (blind) of Velvet Assassin and for some reason I am having a blast. The game doesn't excel in anything, although the graphics are nice and the shooting mechanics are great. I am in the 4 or 5th mission now and I keep wanting to play more and more. I highly recommend it as a game.

Hey maybe that's why I said early Splinter Cell games. Though it's not like Chaos Theory was some totally non-linear Deus Ex style game either.

In any case, liking something is an opinion. I liked Velvet Assassin. Nothing you say makes that wrong.
