Yes, I realize you are among those who consider it a drawback ^^
It is a drawback.
Actually , then I think that Steam have many advantages (I think that I have had this discussion with you before somewhere?) but the company simply have got a completely wrong attitude towards customers in more than one sense...... (and treats some people *very* poorly !!!)

And by the way :

I've never really ran into that but I understand you have your reasons given your past experiences with Steam. And yes I wouldn't be surprised if we did that have that discussion before. I have a pretty bad memory when it comes to that so I hope you can forgive me for repeating myself sometimes ^^ Does seem like it would be a nice feature, although it might run into some resistance here as something that's going 'in the wrong direction', despite the games still being DRM free. Personally I'd say, as long as there's still other options to download it as well that it can only add to GOG.

Well, I'm sure for you it is. What I was saying is that it's subjective. If you want to deny that then go right ahead, but I know plenty of people who disagree, and it only takes 1 for me to be right.

You should check the comments on the "wish" for an extended explanation and more precise wish description from my part....

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for it ^^
Would anyone be willing to split this with me? I only want Empire Gold Edition, the other person would get Napoleon Imperial Edition which I already have. I'll throw in a game of the person's choosing from my classifieds post: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/classifieds/post1924

Better check if its not just 1 code for steam. I dont know how this one looks but maybe both games are bundled as one.

Yeah ! , especially since you (as far as I can see) cannot buy "Empire: Total War Gold" alone at GamersGate :
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-ETWG/empire-total-war-gold

The GamersGate offer might be the equivalent of this one (which I doubt can be split) :

I've got this pack on gamersgate, and it's 2 separate giftable games.

Thanks! I was sure that's how it would be since it usually is with GamersGate bundles, even if the individual games aren't available for sale, but it's always good to have confirmation.
