DodoGeo: Black Hole is off the project and Ubisoft is trying to patch it, but looks like they can't figure out the code.
There are also some rumors that Black Hole is headed for bankruptcy because of the deal for Heroes VI. Check out the post in the middle:

A sad time for any fan of the series.
That's really sad to hear. My thought was always that Ubisoft was evil but Black Hole really tried to give us an authentic HOMM game around Ubisoft's policies. I liked the core gameplay of VI but things like the DRM policy and bugs made me give up on it.

If Black Hole's off the game the chances of HOMM VI rising to it's true potential are pretty much gone.

Can anyone recall a better deal on HoMM VI since its release? I think amazon had on promo a few weeks ago, but I cant remember for how much. Anyone pick it up or remember?

DodoGeo: 50% off is the best deal to day, don't really know if it's worth it though.

The game was released broken and support is lacking and there is a whole Ubisoft/Black Hole hiatus going on in the background without any guarantee to fix the game.

Not to mention the online only Dynasty feature/DRM.
Ah k. That really sucks. I don't know about the hole black hole thing. I guess I got some readin to do... Thanks

Neither of my e-mails contain a link to register the game. I went ahead and e-mailed support though.

I got the email but it registered the game on their system and not on mine. Now it fails saying I've already registered and only lets me play the demo! What?

Does anyone know what file it drops to indicate registration?
