Anyone got any opinion on the Ground Control games, since they're both 3 dollars at Gamersgate? Still hold up? Work without the GoG magic? Is there a good story to follow or is starting at game 2 an okay idea?

In my opinion, it is ok to start from the 2nd game, GC2 has faster gameplay compared to the first game. Both have some flaws, but they are decent and with such low prices quite worth it.

I like the 1st one better since you have only a limited amount of units there. There are no resources, so you have to think a plan your tactics well.

Oh, I just remembered: I have a Steam coupon for 50% off Sanctum, and I think it stacks with the current sale. If anyone wants it, PM me and it's yours.
