gyokzoli: You can't register From Dust anywhere, so if someone buys it, that person sticks to Amazon download service also to that horrible 'you must be always online UBIDRM'. The Steam version does not have this DRM, they patched it out.

Tizzysawr: Didn't mention it being Steamworks because I wasn't sure it'd be -- Thanks for clearing up that it isn't. You sure they didn't patch out the DRM for other retailers though?
I have From Dust from GMG, and it's still running through Ubisoft-you-gotta-be-online-to-play-DRM.

i could be wrong, but from what i've read the Steam version isn't DRM-free. the UbiLauncher/UPlay thing (whatever it's actually called) is still there, as with every UbiSoft game these days.

the only thing they've removed is the need to be constantly online, and possibly also the need to be online everytime you want to start up the game.

Was anticipating $10 Serious Sam 3 from GetGamesGo but they went ahead and raised the base price from $30 to $40 in the last day assuming it's still a 66% discount.. So now it'll be about $13-14. So much for that.

base price has always been $39.99. if it was lower then it was already discounted.

discounts don't stack. if they're discounting it by 66% they'll do so off the base price, not the already reduced $29.99 discount price.

It seems Skyrim is Region priced on GMG. It's showing as $30 here in Australia. I assume it is cheaper elsewhere? I'm interested, but not $30au interested.

That must be teh discounted price. It's 25 EUR (31 AUD) here in Europe, the full price is 50 EUR.
