GG had the regular edition for $10 too and the augmented edition for $12 during the Christmas sale IIRC. They corrected the price within the day though, luckily I grabbed it before that.

We have Activemark DRM on these games. If you are unfamiliar with it, as a DRM, it only protects the installer or executable the first time you run it on a new PC. You will be required to log into your get games account similar to that of the website, and the game will unlock. After that, the DRM doesn’t interfere with anything else, nor does it check your PC for malicious programs or such like Tages or Securom.

Edit: I notice on my account page under "Unlock Type" those games say "Password", the games that i know to be DRM free say "none".

Edit: I also have no trouble accessing Paradoxplaza.
Might be a DNS problem somewhere in your corner of the net. Perhaps try to reach GG via IP?
