Amazon is kicking ass this year in competing with Steam. They are constantly price matching if not beating the price, and they hand out $5 credits instead of specific publisher coupons that most people won't use to start with.

I'd have jumped on this deal if it weren't for next week's deals so I'm saving my last 2 coupons for Alice and Crysis 2. If somebody has a spare coupon they don't mind sharing let me know though.

Psyringe: 2. Does any of these products require EA Origin in any way (activation, necessary patches / downloads, etc.), or any other form of online activation through EA?
I got ME2 and Dragon Age Origins via Amazon last month. Both required a link to EA to activate - after that you didn't have to be online. Assume the links you posted would work the same way.

SimonG: No, but you can activate them on Origin, if you want (even the Steam versions). If you haven't played those games yet and like Science Fiction, go get them already! ME 3 is the first game I'm going to preorder.
Yeah, ME3 would my "1 full price game a year" candidate. 2011 was DX:HR
Maybe GMG is having an insane preorder SALE, too like they had. :)

Ha! Mine was DX:HR, too. It was completly under my radar during development and pre-release. Bought it on release, never regretted it once. (well, full $$ price, thanks to GG. Which is always a little bit easier for us europeans)

If you bought anything during the Amazon sales before the New Year you got a $5 coupon, and those codes get automatically entered when you buy one of the games from the 'Best-Selling Games of 2011' list.
