ne_zavarj: Which two should i choose ? Which worth more ( gameplay ) ?

Cleidophoros: Mafia II + DLCs - Don't bother. Get the first one for a few bucks.
Metro 2033 - Linear corridor shooter with glicthes and broken gameplay mechanics. But ohh so atmospheric!
Red Faction Armageddon - Didn't play.
Skyrim - Could be the best RPG to date; is not. Buggy and blessed with a horrible UI; horrible enough to make you want to scream. Quests forces you to be an arsehole at times, broken mechanics, dumb followers, performance issues.
Warhammer Space Marine - Didn't play.
Lol, you don't seem to be picky at all, now do ya? :P

worlddan: Two Worlds II GOTY is now on sale as a daily deal at Gamers Gate (12 more hours) for $25. The deal is noteworthy because the new GOTY edition has the expansion which up until now has been sold separately.

If anyone wants this for Mac, I have it tradable on GG already ;)

In other news, Hydrophobia: Prophecy is today's daily deal on Steam - has anyone played it?

I played the beginning of Hydrophobia(the original game) and loved it, especially as I searched in areas before I was "supposed" to and got acheivments for doing so or found out little bits and bobs about the story as I found them.

(SPOILER: Like finding the code locked doors in the beginning before saving the security guy.)

Question to everyone: Is H: Prophecy the same game plus a bit more added onto the end like others claim? I might get it but don't know if they changed the parts I played or not, or just added more gameplay onto the end of the original. If it's the former it'll annoy my ocd to no end if I have to replay through slowly and see the new stuff, if it's the latter I cna play through the parts I played in the original more easily.

Also link to deal as MM forgot it :P

link

(I'm just messing with ya MM, ya know I like ya as a fellow gogger right? :)....)

Indeed I did forget the link *blushes*

Well, certainly sounds like it's worth the $3 to give it a try. I was just a bit suspicious as it looked very polished and new for a $3 game, so wondered if there might be something I can't see from the gameplay vids that makes it terrible.

As for whether it's "the same", obviously having never played either I wouldn't know, but according to gamespot the PC version is a substantial improvement on the x box version (which I've also never played).

Edit: Well I just got it, but the file size is 5gb and I'm almost out of data so it's going to have to go in the "download next month" pile which is already about 60gb <.<

The game is 3 bucks because not many people liked it when it came out due to it seeming short in terms of play(The original that is, although some even sdislike the new game's length), plus the fact that it didn't get much advertising and was only originally released on xbox live.
Orcs Must Die is $7.50 on GG - will it give me a Steam code if I get it?

DRM:Requires a 3rd party download and account

So I would say... a 99.9% chance that it will be a steam key :)

Nice, thanks :)
If you bought the game retail you would recieve steam code so its probably the same with GG.

SimonG: This list has been very helpful for me. It clears up especially those games that have achievemnts but aren't steamworks. Easy to use with the search function of any browser .

Edit: I've just noticed that the original Borderlands is also label as Steamworks ...!? Well, not as good as I thought then.

GameRager: So I was right then? I thought I was.......I just didn't want to sound arrogant if I kept saying it was without proof on my end. :\
No you weren't right; Borderlands went Steamworks with the GOTY edition I guess. Regular version can still be played without Steam.

Everything, as CG said. :|

But mainly the Skyrim "dumb followers....horrible game" stuff.

I'm just here to say that I can highly recommend the game. Bought it for full price and had great fun with it. For that price it's a steal.

It looks like a bunch of other games I already have. I'm not sure if that's a reason to buy or not to buy. Waiting until the GMG daily special rolls over to decide ;)

Edit: GMG daily special is up, looks like Dungeon Siege III at $12.49 which I already have, and Square Enix "Build a bundle" which sounds vaguely intriguing.

Orcs Must Die was -75% on Steam last time so the sale could've been better.

That said, I got this game on release and it's worth every penny, great fun :)
