CowboyBebop: Thanks for posting this. Am I the only one who notices the GOG shelf?
You're both welcome. Glad others out there will enjoy, too.
I saw this on GMG's Facebook:

"From 1300 GMT tomorrow you'll be able to see our wondrous January sale all over the site ! :) On top of that, you will also be able to get Sniper: Ghost Warrior at 100% off with the voucher code GREEN-MANSS-NIPER while stocks last! Start the New Year with a bang! /James"
OK. The industry did its best to finally convince me of "never buy on release, for real" rule. Early this year I bought LA Noire for PS3 for like 2500 rubles (console prices are insane here). I liked it and got the DLC when I could afford it. Say, the total price went to 3000. Steam's today deal offers the PC release to me for 150 rubles. 20 times difference. Where's that ASCII middle finger art...
L.A Noire is pretty good deal.. But propably even better if I had dollar price. Suprisingly fast that game went so low.. I mean, a bit of real police work is more interesting than just another GTA-clone.
Does anyone here have Mass Effect 2 from Amazon? If so, can you tell me if you were able to activatie it in the ORIGIN client? Thanks.

I didn't get it from Amazon because I already had bought on release day from GamersGate but it should activate on the Origin client because it is a fairly recent game. The GG version did activate on Origin so I don't see any reason why the Amazon would be different, I read even the Steam version activates fine on Origin.

Even my CE retail registered (as a digital deluxe version even)
Can Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit from Amazon be activated on Steam? I'm thinking of picking this up and the deal breaker would it only being able to be activated on Origin.

I can't think of one EA game that can be activated on Steam if you bought it on other store. I don't see how that is a deal breaker though.

I saw this on RPS:
http://groupees.net/ludosity

It's a bundle of Bob came in pieces and Ittle Dew pre-release. Both on PC and Mac, no Stem keys before anybody asks. PWYW, DRM-Free, and 20% of donations go to charity.

ycl260779: Dragon age ultimate collection isn't, but you need to go online and verify, pretty much like the CD version.

OmegaX: AFAIK all should use SecuROM in one way or another (limited or unlimited activations and/or release date check) but the ones with limited activations have deactivation tools. The only ones that I'm sure don't use SecuROM at all are DAO and ME2.
I bought the Saboteur from Amazon and you can optionally register on Origin but using an external link because activation from the client failed.
So you can register the Amazon version of Saboteur on Origin? Thats a requirement for me, as i dont like the origin client very much, but at least that will be with us for a few years at least. and also dont know how much time till Amazon realises im not actually american, and boots me of its service.
Btw do you think Dead Space 2 from Amazon is also Origin compatible?

The Origin client accepted my Saboteur key but it failed on the last step before adding the game to my account. Using the old method and restarting Origin worked just fine though.
Dead Space 2 should activate directly on the client without any problem. My GamersGate key worked so Amazon must be the same.

5 dollars? I wouldn't have thinked these 4 times again with that. Still, haven't bought it but mostly it is only the only good thing (which I don't own, bought bioshocks from gg and i'm not so pissed, it mostly was same price then) if I recall right.
And dirt 2 always wins grid so. I guess it is just if I'm ready to pay that. Propably yes but I would like the tag 9.99 better. Or better yet that 5.
