It seems to be just a dirty publicity scheme. Many people have reached 6 (and higher) and have received nothing. First they said "free game" then "free game (100 copies only)" now people aren't sure what's going on..

Because of this, I will probably never visit their site again.

Don't take this as an entitlement rant. I just don't like it that they said one thing to get publicity and then changed it once the publicity started. Sites partaking in shady practices don't need me visiting them. (Granted, they never saw my CC anyway, so no loss for them either.)

I was going to call this site out on hosting a pyramid scheme earlier but thought better of it. I can see I was right, sadly.

True enough, but this is a recent change. Before this change of "how it works", it was not bad. The games had a limit to the number of copies and were advertised as such, you shared the info and got the price. None of this changing the rules once the game started crap.
Sadly I can't be called a boy anymore... for many years let's say.

Aren't those the same gits who marked the original game prices at double the normal prices at any other DDL store and then made people join in to earn the 50% discount?

They're skirting on consumer fraud sometimes it seems and who knows what else. I don't get why people don't get that shit like that is only serving the site owners.

Not sure. Maybe. I only recently found the site... maybe about 10 days ago, I'm not sure. I only grabbed two "100% off" games. So they got no money from me.
I've written them to remove my information from their site and told them why. If they do, they do, doesn't matter. I used a unique password for their site, so no worries there. I've also removed anything to do with them everywhere posted.

Wasn't that also the site that claimed "fortix 2" was a 20$ game, but you could get a "great 85% less deal on it" if enough people bought it?

IIRC that are the same ppl. Let´s hope all the bad publicity helps this site dying sooner than later. I can understand if requirements are chenged due to abuse otherwise like for HB4.

GG's Christmas sale has now turned into a new year sale, though personally I can't tell the difference, other than the fact that Trine is now less than $4 (which pretty much makes it a criminal offense not to get it if you haven't already).

Oddworld games on gamersgate are 75% off. At the moment they're adding more games. And paradox games are still up, but I think there will be a cleanup, because there is an advertisement label saying 500 games for new year sales (at the moment we're araound 1500).

Edit: And now the Oddbox is up for 3,74. Just as a sidenote, the first two games have drm, only the last two are drm-free.
