Its a single key and you can get the key from your shelf that lists all your game since one of your game under the X-Superbox should tell you that it has am unused serial keys. I don't think the games has mandatory steamwork drm installed within the program, and you should be able install the program from Gamersgate without involving steam if you want, though you won't get the achievements offered by the steam version.
