Kabuto: Has anyone platyed Lost Planet: Extreme Condition? It's $4.99 with soundtrack where I live. Wondering if it was worthwhile.

StingingVelvet: I liked it. Pretty standard 3rd person shooter but it looks nice, has some unique aspects and is still a looker. It was a good PC port too, in my experience, though some people will say otherwise.

Well worth $5 if you will actually play it.
I just tried the demo on steam recently and for the 30 minutes of it I was quite satisfied with the gameplay for the run and gun mechanics. The snow eye candy and the nice monsters are decent, too, also the performance on my i5 intel HD3000 laptop. It works also nice without a controller. If a nice "point your gun at everything" 3rd person game is your thing, I guess Lost Planet will deliver. And I also think I will get it next time I´ll see it for $5.

Yeah I just played the demo. It's fun despite some clunky movement. With the steam sale cmoming, I think I'll wait a bit longer. It should still be there.

Totally true , the interaction between the Two characters is awesome , and what more could you ask than to have " Gollum " in a video game ! :)

I simply hate it when games are 30$ <-> 40€.
But well... I simply don't buy those. Problem solved :)
(Or I try to find someone who will gift in exchange for the money. Not interested in this case though)

But you have VAT and we have sales tax. Those are two totally different names:)

My American cousin was horrified by the idea of VAT until I gently pointed out it was just sales tax and it didn't apply to many things* unlike her states one...


*Suprisingly little is actually VAT payable for individuals
