lowyhong: Rhea Shelley, a former employee of *sniffle* Origin, is putting up a listing full of vintage games in complete packages for $5-$10. Good if you're residing in the US. Check it out here.
"Paypal, is also an option, yet, you MUST do and Instant Transfer, and/or send money as GIFT.
Otherwise, they charge me an additional 4% to collect my money. This is unacceptable. If you want to pay that way and feel more secure,
then the price will be the total, PLUS 4% additional fee to offset those charges."

Looks like she may get delisted as this breaks the Ebay rules (or it did a couple of months ago when someone I know said similar)

So being honest about paypal's shitty fees is enough to get one delisted?

Charging an additional amount to cover those fees is apparently against the TOS of ebay.

But one could just up their price and not say the extra was for such fees right? So why not let people be honest about it?

upping the price after the auction is also against the ebay TOS

I meant before the auction obviously.
Hmm going through their list... Soulbringer $2.99

To dotemu, or not to dotemu? That is the question.

Plus, Cultures Anthology $4.99. Not on GOG too.

ne_zavarj: Duke Nukem Forever $9.95 on D2D .
avatar
Kabuto: It'll probably be five (or $6.79 like in the Autumn sale) next week on Steam.
I'd say DNF might be a $4.99 daily, and $9.99 during the sale.

I'm hoping the new DLC will be discounted too.

OmegaX: Christmas sale on Telltale Store: http://www.telltalegames.com/tis-the-season

Every complete season of any Telltale game except for Jurassic Park is $9.99. You can also get 3 episodes for free.
Puzzle Agent 1 and 2 are not discounted. :(

Neither Hector.
Has anyone platyed Lost Planet: Extreme Condition? It's $4.99 with soundtrack where I live. Wondering if it was worthwhile.

It's ok if you like frenzied fighting games.......there's also a time limit of sorts in that you have to collect heat energy to survive and keep playing but it isn't too hard to do that.

Thanks. Tough call with so many good games heavily discounted or that will be discounted.

It's ok and all for a 3ps game. Plus in some parts you can pilot various mechs(with changeable weapons).....if that's your thing.

How can you up the price before the auction? The price is set by the bidder, since it's an auction. Once the auction is over, the highest bid wins, and that bid is recorded by ebay. So the only option is to either accept the 4% fee or have the buyer add more to the final price to cover the fee, which, as noted, is against the TOS.

Um if you want 10 bucks plus the money for the paypal fees set the minimum bid at 12?

If GameRager is talking about the seller doing that, that's shill bidding which is also against the rules.

Everyone seems to rip paypal a lot but credit card companies charge vendors 4% at b&m stores per transaction also.

My understanding is that the seller can set a minimum price before the auction starts (like a reserve price).

I think this is what GR meant.
