p_mamusz: You can try it yourself, a Nuclear Dawn free weekend is starting today on Steam(probably around 18:00 GMT).
Thanks for the info, but the Steam requirement is actually the reason why I'm not interested in the game. I would've bought it from GamersGate already (6 € seems to be a good price, the content sounded okay, and I'm waiting on a fourth game in that price range for my next 4:3 bundle anyway), but the Steam requirement killed it for me. But I have a hunch that Gamersgate will bring some more good sales soon. :)
Despite labeling yesterday's double promo as "last sale", DotEmu today offers Spellforce Platinum for 2.49 $ / 2.50 € (75% off).

They also tell us that this offer now is the "Last Promo Flash" for real, while at the same time announcing a "new gift tomorrow". The site's marketing does look a bit confused, but as long as it yields us great discounts, who's to complain? :)

StingingVelvet: If it makes any difference to you, I have like 100 point and clicks sitting waiting to be played, but I blasted through Tales of MI in a weekend and loved it. It's a pretty good series, and not as tedious as most modern point and click games.

Argentum42: Is it necessary to have played through the original Monkey Island series, or does it work well as a standalone story?
I only played Monkey Island 2 years ago and that was enough to get most of it but I think I'd have liked it anyway without having played it. You should buy the collection, it's one of those few games that kept my attention long enough to finish it without getting distracted by newer games.

Hey, it's the censored version! :D
Amazon Daily Deal is another EA promo. i think this is the same promo as a week ago. Looks like overpriced EA games are not selling that well this Xmas.
I see you guys noticed it . :)

*end of fun*

I went ahead and got it. Been plowing through my point and clicks like crazy over the past few days, so I'll hopefully get around to playing it sometime next week at this rate. Thanks for the input, StingingVelvet, bazilisek, and OmegaX!
Today's Steam daily deal is Limbo for $2.50. I'm buying it this time.

Edit: Is SS: The Random Encounter a Steamworks game?

I was suprised that bulletstorm was 5 euros in ea origin.. but I don't really need another client. Also I googled that and that eula seems a bit crappy. I've been buying gog games in these couple of days. And now after a months of trying to win bloodrayne 1 I finally can play it again (because I bought it, so thanks a lot).
Now I'm thinking those Dark falls. Propably worth with that price.. Or are they?
