If we are talking about f2p-games.. I saw today ABP in steam. but I'll have to check how big is killing floor. If it's like "drop in and die" It's fine. I don't want to make that more complicated.
And always at this time, steam isn't very fast. (suprise)
Awe-some. They forgot to put the US-only clause in. The system let me buy it. With a very funny looking US address, but it didn't mind and the DRM-free downloads are working.

ne_zavarj: Steam daily deal today is Homefront at 75% off .
Not even worth $1 if you ask me. Hell, not even worth free because of the time it would take to play it.
Many stores have stopped selling Out Run 2006, but GGG doesn't; grab it while you can; i doubt seems its cars licenses expires soon so publisher can't sell it anymore
http://getgamesgo.com/product/outrun-2006-coast-coast
2.5$
off

Is anyone have a gift copy of Serious Sam HD: Double Pack ?

PenutBrittle: I can tell you right now it won't go any lower in the Holiday sale. This is the first time it's been lowered by 66%, and even that took a lot time to get to.

If you're waiting for a 75% off sale, I'd bet you almost anything you'll be waiting another three months at least. Not that there's anything wrong with waiting, but don't get your hopes up.

Metro09: Worst comes to worst I'm sure it'll at least be 67% off again. Anyway, as I said, I'm not dying to play it. I followed the game since about a year prior to it's launch and was ultimately underwhelmed by what they actually produced: an isometric hack and slash of Braid, :Limbo, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if it were 75% off. From a sales standpoint they're probably getting the vast majority of people who would buy at the $5 price point during the daily so the next logical step is to go down to $3.75 to grab even more people.
I played through these 3 games and I think each is a great game worth it's full price but if I had to choose only one I'd say Bastion is easily the best of the pack. In general it really has nothing in common with Braid except the developers are indies and maybe arguably it has it's own visual style.

So compare with the other two games Bastion

* is a much bigger/longer game
* is a lot more rewarding because all the new weapons, upgrades and attacks you earn durin the game
* is the most polished of these 3 games
* has by far the best soundtrack with a pretty unique style and feeling and it's a fantastic match for the game. Honestly in some way it felt a bit like in the good old days when we (well those of use old enough ;)) played C64 games because of the great music from Hubbard, Galway and the like :-))
By the way, I'm happy to report that you can now pay with Paypal on GetGamesGo. Damn it, but they should have done this long ago :P

SirPrimalform: It's a Steamworks game. No matter where you buy it, you have to play it through Steam.

Backe: Yes I understood that. What I mean is there seams to be no way of knowing that just loking at the GG site
If it says "Requires 3rd Party Account", it means it needs Steam. If it says Other DRM, then it may refer to DRM other than SecuROM, Tages, Starforce or Games For Windows Live e.g. Red Faction Guerrilla.

Why doesn't Sega do this on Steam. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Yes. And they work. And the downloaders get you DRM-free installers And you actually should try buying it, because it worked for me (the only thing that was required was find a matching zip code for a random state).
Hmm I am thinking to get Disciples 2 Gold from GetgamesGo. Wondering if it has any DRM, ny ideas?
Sega had some good games and I hoped that dreamcast would do better. Mega-cd had snatcher, the better version. I many times wondered phantasy stars but nowadays, they will piss you off because you can't move but 4 directions. It's evil I tell you. Ps1 was best console, then came nintendo 8-bit.. then others. Nowadays.. Well I don't care. i don't have a TV. Still in my closet I have ps2. Bought that with my studentloan. Books? I didn't read those. I was good enough and now at this moment I don't have a job. ^^

I ended up buying it, but it plays a lot better with the original controller. I've got a proper one from way back with an adapter so I'm sett. Trying to play on keyboard is just not right.

I adore this package simply because it has many different genres in it. There's even a roguelike.
Cryostasis is bloody good and 2 quid on GG. So go buy if you haven't already (and have a powerful enough computer).

gyokzoli: This is the official list and thus it's better. Also you can observe that not every Steamworks game is Steam only.
No. That's a list of games that can be registered with Steam. It's not a list of Steamworks games. Steamworks games HAVE to be registered with Steam. It's not merely an option like it is with many games on that list.
