Pheace: Aww Impulse has Space Rangers 2 Reboot for 3,77. I'd highly recommend that, lovely game.

BoxOfSnoo: Impulse's version claims to need the full version of SR2 for some reason. GamersGate's version might end up being cheaper.

Unless they got it wrong and just assumed.
Gamersgate version 'used' to claim that too, although it turned out to be wrong.

GG is 9,99 atm though. So then I guess the cheapest version is the 5 dollar/euro one on Steam at the moment.

*sigh* I still remember 1C giving a blanket -75% during one large sale, sadly since then it's been -50% only. I wouldn't mind getting Star Wolves 3 or Death to Spies, but the base prices are just too high imo :/

Still, SR2: Reboot is one of my favorite games. Where ever you get it, get it, it's great :)

kavazovangel: New sales, but too bad Steam doesn't sell EU3's newest DLCs... They are still 2 EUR at GG, which is kind of expensive for what they come with. Maybe if they were priced at $1 or something similar.
Yeah they do. If you open up the page, you'll see the EU3 chronicles edition with all 4 expansions, and the two new ones (Heir to the Throne & Divine Wind) are available from the DLC list.
Anyone from US willing to help out with Dead Space 2 for a 6$ GOG? Or something similar priced on Steam?

DLCs, not expansions. I already have Chronicles and the two Anno Domini DLCs. Currently the Enlightenment, Reformation, Revolution, and Medieval DLCs are only available through GamersGate. But 2 EUR for each is a lot. I'm getting STALKER (the WHOLE game for 1.75 EUR (with BCs, but still cheaper than a single DLC)!)
I'm really struggling with Orcs Must Die. I was hoping it'd get discounted again but it looks like I missed my shot.

I really liked the demo, but the fact that I'm certain it'll go back down to 3.75 or so in a few weeks is bugging me. 7.79 isn't a whole lot, but it's still four dollars more then it was, enough to bug me.

But when it does get discounted further I may not have disposable money. Argh.

metalkidz: Few weeks ago, they were 2.5 and 3.75GBP on Gamersgate UK available worldwide
avatar
Dragobr: But then they had SecuRom. Steam is the only DRM I can take.

Though I see DS2 has SecuRom even there. Well, I'll just wait until the price for DS1 matches NA. For now, thoough, I'll have a look at Metro 2033 and Darksiders, both $5 on Gamersgate.
I have DS2 on Gamersgate. I can gift it to you for Blue Coins if you want.
Do you have $10 to $15 in your pocket? Yes? Here's my recommendations on Steam, for strategy fans and for mindless fun shooting aliens:

Cossacks and American Conquest Pack $4.99
Commandos pack $3.75
Alien Shooter pack $3.74
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident $2.49 (lowest I've ever seen)
Majesty Gold Edition $1.99
Toki Tori $1.25

I've played all of them except for a few of the alien pack, and they're all good if you like strategy like me.

Same price, but includes an extra game.

Hmm thanks for the tip, although that is the only Commandos game to be an FPS, the others are all isometric strategy.

I wonder why GOG does not have Strike Force, I would buy it here.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I must decline due to Securom and having already used that money to get Darksiders.

I shouldn't worry so much, anyway, I already have a humongous backlog.
Just wanted to bring attention to the fact that the Unreal Deal pack is ten dollars on Steam. Probably got overlooked due to all the front page deals.

I have to recommend this game a lot. It is fun as hell (I played the boxed copy years ago so I cannot speak for Steam's version).

Don't they discount the same shit all over again at Christmas?
avatar
GameRager: I wanna get Borderlands DLC for my copy of the game on Steam but the current 33% isn't bite-worthy enough for me(still 7ish bucks apiece). Will they possibly have a further discount in future soon or is that the best they have to offer usually for those DLC?
You can get Borderlands GOTY for 10 bucks on Amazon sales, just watch it and grab the whole thing when it goes on sale again.

Magic the Gathering 2012 + Deck Pack 1 + Expansion for $7.17 on Steam. Is it worth it? It's 60% off now but could I expect it to be even cheaper during the Christmas sale?

If you can live without playing it for a month then might as well wait and see. The deals are usually better during the Christmas sale though.

I have no idea whether it will be cheaper during the Christmas sale, but I had a lot of fun with the game. Whether you will like it probably depends on your previous exposure to the game. It's probably too shallow for a serious Magic player since there's only a limited number of decks (ten) with little customization. For a casual Magic player this is ideal though, as you don't have to concern yourself with constructing a deck out of thousands of available cards. Instead, you can just jump right in with a preconstructed deck and still enjoy some fairly challenging matches.
