DRM?
My struggle with buying at least one game in the series boils down to the question "which one the least bugged?". Still can't find an answer, and my very brief experience with SoC after the release didn't hook me.

No idea. Asked a question at Game Tutor, but still waiting for replies. One person said Steam key, but I highly doubt it since the game was released way back for it to be activate-able on Steam.

I think it is DRM-free on GG, will wait for some confirmation, then reply back here.

There are several mods for the game that fix most bugs. try this one or search around to see which one fits what you are looking for.

Would be interesting to know what other drm means.Neverwinter 2 and some expansions use securom, only one is labeled with other drm. Maybe that's the reason the whole pack is labeled with other drm?

Btw, regarding the D&D anthology box I found an interesting review on amazon about the disc version. It seems the box uses a different folder structure and regarding Baldurs Gate there is one file missing, so he can't use it with EasyTutu.

Mkay. Got it investing some bonus coins. All good news. GG version is similar to US-retail, that is it can be patched to 1.0005 and 1.0006 using US patches. Protection ID reported only potential CD key checks and was right - you need the key only for multiplayer. You can even skip entering the serial during the installation. No activations or other BS.

If anyone gets Darkness Within 2 at GG be prepared to download a proper version from some other place. GG version can't be patched (and de-DRM-ed) by the 1.02g that GG supplies and 1.60b beta patch from the developer's page is a 400MB broken mess.
