GG has increased price of Assassin's Creed 1&2 to $9.99 each. They both were $5 only yesterday. GG is known for unexpectedly changing their sale prices or removing them before the sale ends. When i see a good deal there, i usually buy it that day.

I googled that message and it appears to be legit.

Also they probably want to keep track of people who got their code straight from Bioware and those who didn't.
