Snickersnack: -snips lot of text that makes sense-

Steam is normally pretty benign as far as DRM goes, but it too can get in way.
My mistake. I'm on XP and will eventually change, but it would truly suck if Steam does it first. Specially since I've got games i bought around 2009 and haven't even touched and i don't want to feel like I'm on the clock here.

SimonG: Kids, kids. Either you hug yourself and be nice each other or you can fight outside (general forum). Every time this forum gets updated I'm hoping for a good Arkham City deal...
Uhm... We weren't even close to arguing, but I won't derail the thread anymore.

On the subject of deals, Amazon is accepting preorders for an Atari D&D classics anthology that will be released on november 15th. It's not really a deal and I didn't feel like sharing it much since it can cost GOG sales, but the shelf price is quite good and some of you may appreciate it or prefer boxed copies.

No that is a deal. That's $56 worth of games on GOG for $20. Plus they are physical copies so they can be sold/passed on once your done with them.

Yes, this could hurt GOG. It should drive down eBay prices for these games to. Amazon is a pretty brutal competitor. Typically good for customers though.

Damn, that's one sweet collection. Shame I don't do retail anymore :)
GetGamesGo has Assassin's Creed for $3.74 - pretty good deal. i've been thinking about it, but still not sure.

That Atari D&D collection looks like an incredible deal, unfortunately i already have all the games.

IndieRoyale has another bundle coming out tomorrow. Looking forward to it, hope they have some good games in there.

Considering the bundle's name is "The Difficult 2nd Bundle"... I have a feeling it'll include Super Meat Boy. :(

I don't take that to mean the games will be difficult, I read it as just a reference to the phrase 'difficult second album'. After all, there was nothing 'launchy' about the games in the first bundle.
I guess we'll see tomorrow.

It depends. If they have stuffed it with some DRM, then I would still consider the GOG versions a better offer.

any gamer that's seriously considering selling Baldur's Gate after having finished playing it isn't really a gamer at all...

Agreed but ToEE is in there too, id say it would be better without that one so sell that
Now there are way too many Gish giveaways on steamgifts, so I just decided that I give my key away to the first person who asks for it. Yeah, it's a Steam key.
