BoxOfSnoo: Were do you see these?
An email from Impulse was sent a couple days ago stating Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity and Elemental: War of Magic will be on sale from the 3rd to the 9th of October.

They did not state any prices yet.
Well, this is the final half hour to take advantage of GamersGate's FPS sale. There are too many obvious recommendations here, but be sure not to overlook Xenus II and Precursors before it's over. The F.E.A.R, Far Cry, Unreal, and Painkiller series are all on sale. The first F.E.A.R. is an easy recommendation, and the latter three are cheaper in a pack than they are alone, so you needn't worry about which one to get (but I'd play Painkiller Black, Far Cry 1, and any Unreal but Unreal II before anything else).

Alien vs Predator Classic 2000 lacks multiplayer, but it has a pretty good campaign for $2. Postal 2 is on sale, but personally, I'd suggest just waiting for a sale on GOG. Rat Hunter is good for a laugh... and not much else. I can't really recommend Chaser or Legendary, and Dragonblade sounds like it might give Rat Hunter a run for it's money. It actually looks kind of interesting from the screenshots, but it doesn't look like the people who played it enjoyed it much...

I wish Xenus II and Precursors were cheaper... and DRM free... since everyone should try them. Sanctum is pretty cool, but overpriced. It gets old far too quickly, and they've gone the pay-DLC route for the much-needed additional content, which is a shame. It doesn't even seem to be part of the actual sale. For some reason, the loyalty edition of Call of Pripyat is on sale, and that's it. Just wait for Shadow of Chernobyl to go on sale, it happens often enough.

What, did they both turn into less of a horrible bug-ridden mess during the transition from Russian to the Western audience?

No, and you clearly don't like them, so I'm left wondering which paragraph it was that I said they were perfect. >_>

It's not typical for Russian players to like a Russian game. Our releases are usually betas compared to what the rest of the world gets.
So, why play (and pay for) those two, then?
I'm wondering if this a screw up. That's an abnormally low price.

No, Steam had something similar in one of their mass sales. Got them dirt cheap. It could actually be two games, if Armored Princess installs with CW already plugged in.

I already ownLegend & AP, but I don't think the site I got Legend on still exists (Metaboil? Something like that), and I didn't have CrossWorlds. So for 5 bucks I picked it up just to have them all on a reliable site.

Seems to be 50% off on both. I only see the prices in SEK so I cannot say how much it is in USD.
