wy4786: I'm thinking of picking up DS3 just for DS1 and DS2, never played them before.
Is it a good deal for $26 off steam?
its a pretty good deal for 3 games, but from what i have seen, they intend to release lots of dlc and reduce the ds3 base game price soon and the ds1 and ds2 have their features like co-op cut out
Don't think it has been mentioned yet, and I'm sure I'm one of the few who gets a bit excited, but Spiderweb Software is having their October sale now...They have apparently lowered the price on all of their games by 20% or more (finally) and have additionally marked everything 10% off for this month (October)...If you like old-school RPG's, you are missing out if you haven't at least tried the super long demos that come with the games...My favorite is the Geneforge series, haven't spent too much time on the Avernum, but, I have read good reviews for it as well...You can check it out here:

Tizzysawr: And you can find cracked DLCs in several places I will not name :P

Delixe: Like the official Bioware forums? It's not a crack it's just editing an entry in the xml file.
Oh that's right! I even made a note of a it a few weeks ago.

Super. I think I'll pick it up.

BTW just a deal for Singaporeans if big boxes are your thing: I once saw a few copies of Total Overdose and Dungeon Siege 1 being sold at a games' shop in Funan. It's near the first floor I think.

DS1 and 2 are single-player only and don't have the expansions.

I hate saying this, but just pirate those two games, unless you're actually interested in DS3.

Heretic777: GG has Chaser for $1.24 but there is no DRM info. Has anyone bought this game from GG? If so, can you tell me what DRM type it has? Thanks.
it uses StarForce, unless they removed it which I don´t think. Haven´t played it in a while.

QFT.

I have played through the demo and if you are into the niche market this game targets you cannot go wrong with this price.

And if you like GOG and like RPGs, you ARE the niche market it targets.
Dragon Age Ultimate on Direct2Drive for $7.50 is very tempting. Anyone buy this? Hows D2D service?

You can activate and download your EA games on Origin .

It could be better, but Dragon Age registers on Origin, so you can just take the code, and have it there. Better download through Origin, since D2D's client thing is pretty terrible. Origin is marginally better, and it is not required to run the thing.

It could be registed on Origin, so go buy it now! Even if you will have some problems with D2D, Dragon Age is worth it.

Yes, i second this I got it for 10% off when it first launched on Steam and I don't regret it one bit.

Will I be able to transfer the downloaded file(s) to an external harddrive, so I can install on another computer without having to download again?
