Pheace: They also might decide to have different release plans for the RU area.

grviper: Yeah... I can pay 199 rubles to get Heretic + Hexen pack that includes 0 games. See attached.
Deal of the decade.

Pheace: Congrats, you've now become regional :)

grviper: The urge to change my region is getting stronger every day.
In Soviet Russia, games play you.

I hope you get the joke.

Have you tried contacting Steam support for this "bundle" ?

Nah, I'd rather see them sued by someone who buys that.
Presumably, all this happens because our local publisher 1C has the distribution rights for most of the stuff. I wish all types of pox upon them.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II Retribution 50% off ( $14.95 ) on Amazon digital .
So, every game on Steam is region specific or just some of them?
For example, someone russian buys a game and gifts it to me, will it not work with my account or something?
Steam offers Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble 50% off. If you like board games with a storyline, get it. It starts off a bit silly, but then gets intriguing. I also like various casual outlet reviews going "oh, nice girls chatting, flirting, investigating... whaaa.. an attempted rape scene? murder? I quit!"
The installed game can be run without the Steam launcher. Saves go into one of its internal folders.

It might turn out to be a Russian-language-only version.

You can always see the languages available on the product page.
From the official Rubles FAQ that answers the ever-important "What are Russian Rubles?"
Are there any changes to the games being sold on Steam in Russian Rubles?
Nothing has changed with the games being offered on Steam in Russia. All of the languages and features in the games that existed when the store was priced in USD are still available.

Not really, but I already asked in the context of SteamGifts, in which if a Russian customer gifts a game, will it be region locked?
Midweek madness deal on steam
Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012

4.99$
the game was great on the ps3, dont know much about the pc version
If you're not after fancy graphics MTG Online is much better. But for this price it's worth buying I guess. Just don't buy the 'complete' version. All DLCs currently available contain decks that can be unlocked by playing (you just need to defeat an opponent who's using it).

Valve is really clever. MTG is on offer today but they will unlock the addon tomorrow http://store.steampowered.com/app/49473/

Hesitated for days , but finally bought Making History II from Impulse .
I just got a pop up from Impulse, but Disciples III is on sale for $8.99.

Somewhat tempting at that price, I must say.
