GoJays2025: Cheap Ass Gamer is offering a code for Din's Curse at D2D for $3.99 - CAGDINS80

Also, Fable III @ XBox Marketplace (so uses GFWL) is $12.49.
WOAH!

THAT is a good deal (the Din's Curse one). I highly doubt we'll be seeing something like this anytime soon. I believe none of their games have been this heavily discounted before, although I may be mistaken.

Hmm... looking up my things now, if anyone is willing to gift me Din's Curse in exchange I have some codes to offer (no money, unfortunatelly). PM me if interested in helping me on this.

IIRC Dungeon Siege 3 is Steamworks, so it would be added to your steam account. Could be wrong though
That's some crappy midweek sale.. Call of duty? Really? How can that shit still cost so much.. Better be off.

It's a vicious cycle of kids wanting the game, the mothers buying it at full price (not teaching Activision a lesson by buying it cheaper) then those sheep telling all their freinds they are losers for not buying it, so they go out and buy it like sheep (baa baa) thus activision recycles the same linear experience over and over since it constantly makes money.

What ever trollman.. I really just hate the those games. =) And Midweek.. It's night in finland and its freaking friday started. So put that in yuore pipe and smoke it.
infact.. hate is too kind word.

Edit(something) Good thing I bought ctulhu and breath of death.. those can be worth the money (which was quite little).. As Germans say now " I own doom" I say, Sweet. After all those years, it isn't even a bad game.

E: I still prefer hexen.

Never heard of Din's Curse, but it sounds interesting enough. Supposedly all the content is procedurally generated, which intrigues me greatly.

Very hard to go wrong with Din's Curse at that price. The one caveat is that it's possible for nearly impossible scenarios to arise once in a while, such as finding and rescuing someone before they're killed on the same floor as a meeting between three difficult monster heroes. Or you might start a game where all the main quest givers and vendors have been turned to stone. But failing individual quests or having major NPCs unavailable doesn't make a town unwinnable.

I picked it up and played about an hour. I think it's worth the $3.99 price tag. Not so sure on the retail price though.

My game ended up ending. I was trying to do some quests on Level 5 of the dungeon, and the town got raided by undead. Unless I missed it, I never got an update saying undead were massing. It was about a dire wolf and his army that I was attempting to wipe out.

Couldn't find a portal to go back to town in time, so the town got sacked. I keep my character though, so that's not too bad. But if that's a trend in the game where random things happen with no warning, I could see it getting annoying.

It's weekend deal, not midweek. ;-)
Is Fable 3 from the GFWL marketplace multilanguage? The marketplace is in german and I really don't want to play it in german....

EDIT: After contacting the GFWL support they said that all GFWL games are language locked. That means, if you live in germany your game is german. Go to hell GFWL.

$4 for Din's Curse is more than a steal. I recommend you guys get it if you like ARPGs (or if you liked ARPGs, but were getting bored of them).
Up yours D2D $4 vs £13 for Dins Curse
