Hawk52: Never heard of Din's Curse, but it sounds interesting enough. Supposedly all the content is procedurally generated, which intrigues me greatly.
wvpr: Very hard to go wrong with Din's Curse at that price. The one caveat is that it's possible for nearly impossible scenarios to arise once in a while, such as finding and rescuing someone before they're killed on the same floor as a meeting between three difficult monster heroes. Or you might start a game where all the main quest givers and vendors have been turned to stone. But failing individual quests or having major NPCs unavailable doesn't make a town unwinnable.
I picked it up and played about an hour. I think it's worth the $3.99 price tag. Not so sure on the retail price though.
My game ended up ending. I was trying to do some quests on Level 5 of the dungeon, and the town got raided by undead. Unless I missed it, I never got an update saying undead were massing. It was about a dire wolf and his army that I was attempting to wipe out.
Couldn't find a portal to go back to town in time, so the town got sacked. I keep my character though, so that's not
too bad. But if that's a trend in the game where random things happen with no warning, I could see it getting annoying.
