Luisfius: Weekend Deal at Steam is Borderlands with 75% off at everything. 7.5 bucks for GOTY edition, which is the game and all the DLC. Very worth it.

PincushionMan: The GOTY page says it uses SecuROM - is that the dreaded 3 install limit that I've heard so much about?

Also, if you have the base game, you can buy a DLC 4-pack for ($7.50 - cost of GOTY), but one or more of those has SecuROM also.
IIRC the base game doesn't have SecuROM, but some of the DLCs DO.

By the way, the way the DLC installs is retarded. Steam downloads all the materials, and it is available from the start, but when you fast travel to the DLC locations, the game stops and asks for a code. The first time I activated one of the DLCs it pretty much required me to kill the process. Window the game before going to the DLC areas for the first time.
Yeah, and the DRM comes with two of the DLCs (Dr Ned, Moxxi) but not the other two. So there's an activation limit on two of them that my friend had to call them to reset, but he could go into the base game + other 2 (well, other 1 at the time) fine heh. It's kind of a halfway-legacied DRM they haven't removed I guess.
Yes, it's very annoying.
If anyone wants to buy Borderlands GOTY for themselves please PM me. I'll pay for extra copies for 4-pack as I need some extra to gift. Thanks.
Homefront is 70% off today, $14.98. Don't ever look at co.uk site as it's £14.98 there. :)
Today's GamersGate deal is Homefront, for 70% off ($15)

Between today's EA offerings here on GOG and the last few daily sales on GamersGate, it looks like I'm saving a good bit of money as of late. Part of me almost hopes GOG's weekend deal won't change that. Not that I haven't already gotten plenty from the GamersGate sale, mind.

Another steamworks game? :P Should be called the Steammer sale rather then summer sale :P

Skipping this one though, my love for keeping my $15 is bigger than my love for getting another game at the moment.
Seems like GamersGate customers like those Steamworks games a lot :)
Just to repeat what I said in another thread, DO NOT BUY HOMEFRONT OMG.

I'd buy if it was $5, but for $15 all I wanna say is just meh.

I guess any shooter is worth $5 to me, but honestly this is the worst shooter I have played in years. It's just really badly done.
DotEmu weekend sale is up. http://www.dotemu.com/en/discount-sale
Nevermind, nagytow already mentioned the Counter Strike weekend deal.
