I only played its multi for a couple of hours at a friend's place, and from that experience I can say that yes - it's good, very good. Clever mechanics, use of tactics, loads (ha!) of equipment options, and hell, it just feels right.
Not sure how many people play nowadays, though, that's kinda crucial.

Could anyone help me out? I kinda wanted two of those gratuitous space battles expansions (which are heavily discounted now), and they are the Galactic Conquest and The Nomads.
Each on is 1.75 U$. I don't have anything on my paypal, but I can offer a few things to trade (like unused codes from some bundles, a green man gaming up to 2.25 (not confirmed)). If anyone is kindly interested, PM me.

Oh yeah, it does look interesting, but I believe it's pretty different from GSB. Plus, I already have GSB and it's three first expansions, so it's a lot cheaper for me to just get the two last expansions.
