Hot DAMN, I knew waiting for Darksiders to go lower in price was a good idea! Bought!

As for GetGamesGo, I only bought one game from them. That game used a custom download manager that didn't let you change your download location - it was always stored in C, which was a bit of a pain in the ass for people like me who had little hard drive space. I complained to support, they replied, and then left me hanging.

They have activation too, depending on the game. :(

They're cool for non-DRM and Steamworks games, but I'm not sure about everything else.
Shopto have started doing digital downloads. Deus Ex: HR £19.99/€24.75 and registers on Steam.

anyone has experience with this vendor? Deus Ex for 25€ is such a deal... about half price than all other shops (download or local in germany)...

A lot of my console friends use them and like them a lot. I have no experience with this download service but as it's a Steam key I doubt there is any risk.

Edit: It seems there are quite a lot of games on sale on there. King Arthur Collection, Magicka, Europa Universalis III Chronicles all for £1.99/€2.50.

F1ach: I came to post the same thing.

Darksiders is a sublime mix of Zelda and Soul Reaver / Legacy of Kain, One of the best endings I have seen in a game, try it as a percursor to DS 2 which is coming next year.
Soulreaver - now you got me hooked!

Been using them for quite a while but never tried their download service.

Every code is a Steam code here? They just write that they give only a code as digital download.

I haven't tried the download service. But so far I have had no problems with them.

Nah I can only confirm Deus Ex: HR is a Steam code. Magicka will be as well but the other Paradox games likely use some other downloader. I just thought I would mention them as anyone unsure about the download service can try it out with those cheaper titles.

I just bought Europa Universalis 3 Complete (it was only 2 GBP). The code is not a Steam code and the download comes from ztorm.net. I know nothing about this service.
All downloads disappeared for me, strange.

nagytow: Agreed, but unfortunately D2 is not going to be a direct continuation.
Thats correct, DS2 concerns Deaths story and the events of DS2 occur within the same time frame as DS1. I'm sure the basic mechanics will re-appear, with combat/platforms and puzzles, just different animations/weapons.

Actually Death (the character in DS2) reminds me alot of Raziel, with the cowl and the huge claw hands.

Yes, but considering the ending of D1, wouldn't you rather see what happened next? I'm sure D2 will be great (although a bit weird as I thought that only War was summoned) but I just want to see all 4 in action.

Bought Magicka + Vietnam to try their service and as for now it says:
Magicka + Magicka: Vietnam Not released yet. No URL available yet
