Detlik: GMG has Paradox sale and a lot of games from there you can register on steam (Magicka, MaB and more)
avatar
knrdz: Only Magicka (+DLCs) and King's Crusade can be registered on Steam.
Mount and Blade too :) the CD-Key is universal...okay not sure about the GMG version, but I think the cd-key is universal, I bought MaB retail and was able to register in on steam.
New Humble Indie Bundle available.

Pay what you like, 5 great games, the usual deal.

Games are Cogs, Crayon Physics Deluxe, VVVVVV, Hammerfight and Yet It Moves.

I own all but Yet It Moves, and they're great fun!

This box of Baldur's Gate seems good http://amzn.to/qxi1hJ

Its pretty old too, and you have to deal with lots of cds and patches. I'd recommend just paying $5 more (you'll probably pay about that on shipping anyway) and getting both here on GoG.

I have the box, from when it was originally released, and obtaining patches is a bit of a nightmare.
It works nice without them, but you'll need to follow the tutorials here to make it work in modern equipments.
So I think Tizzysawr is right, you'll be better with the versions here.
Oh, and Steam has Batman edition Discoun... I mean GOTY. Why don't they just slash the price of the game? Is a bit sad seeing this game on sale permanently in one seller or the other.

I hadn't remembered the patches. Thanks for the advice guys.
I'll buy here in GoG.

Batman and Critical Mass are the deals today on steam. Batman being the midweek madness, and Critical Mass the daily deal. CM seems like a connect 3 puzzle, but in 3d. Might be worth checking, and Batman is an absolute steal at 7.5 bucks.

On the other hand, with any luck it'll be 7.5 bucks on GG or something if you mind Securom or whatever it uses more than steam itself.

The Steam store pages lists their version as having SecuROM. So if that's true, it's more of a case of do you want a version that is tied to Steam, GFWL and SecuROM (with a 4 machine activation limit ) or a version that is tied to only GFWL and SecuROM (with unlimited activations should you ever run out)?

Arkham GOTY doesn't have the limited activations, that only applies to the standard Arkham. Still means Steam+GFWL+SecuROM though.

AFAIK, it does. In fact, the non-GOTY edition would give an activation back every 30 days, and the GOTY editions won't give back activations at all, making it even worse.

The GOTY edition isn't listed on SecuROM's site at all.
