KavazovAngel: Those bitching about Ass Creed's DRM on GG... Just go to GameCopyWorld and download a crack, dammit! :)

A nice deal is a nice deal, no matter the DRM, since it can easily be removed.
Whatever happened to voting with your wallet and principles? :o

Buy the game at such a low price and it's likely the developers will get next to nothing for the thing. Or even buy it used in a store like Gamestop and they get nothing so you haven't paid for a DRMd game where you supported the dev. :)
It's funny. The one chance GMG has had to make me want to use their service (for those free games), I couldn't get the service to verify my email for days until I finally sent in a support ticket (which took an additional 24 hours). But it took so long that the codes have apparently expired.

What a complete failure for attracting a new potential customer.

I like to think of it as buying the game at as low a price as possible to show Ubisoft that that's what their games are worth when laden with shitty DRM. Besides, it's nice to support Gamersgate.

This.

Pay what you think the game is worth. Hitting Ubisoft in the wallet is what makes them listen. If they sell shitloads but at a lower price than they expected they can understand a) The product wasn't worth the RRP and b) People did want to buy it but not for what we wanted to sell it for so how can we make it more attractive to them?
Exactly. And my message to them would be: I don't want your malware, even if you give me money for it.
But as not many people act like this, the industry even succeeds with producing hardware, that is meant to break, with shiny red rings on them, that indicate, when they're dead. But people buy all that crap like crazy...

And what Ubisoft offers at Gamersgate is laughable... DRM wise

Gaming deals almost buried? I can't allow this.
Settlers 7 Deluxe Gold Edition is today Ubisoft's daily deal on GamersGate.
It's 75% off, tallying for 9.99€ here. Or £7.49.
It seems Green Man Gaming offers each day a "Daily Deal".
This time they have Patricain IV with a 70% discount.
It's 11.98 in Euros.

this
Your Doodles Are Bugged! is $1.99 / £1.99 on D2D .
