I hope that's true and I can get C&C4 for peanuts. Yes I know it's awful and it's not a proper C&C game but still want it in the collection. It also seems likely it will be the last time we see Joe Kucan as Kane :(

Pheace: The pack on steam is 9.99

C&C Franchise today probably and possibly Quake Collection
Individual price: $12.69USD
Package price: $39.99 USD
Limited Time Offer: -$30.00 USD
Cost to you: $9.99 USD
You save: $2.70 USD

Save $30 but not really since the game + expansion are all at liqiuidation prices.

Quake should be $5-10 but will probably be $12 again.

Does steam give a key to register on origin for c&c4? Surely if you must always be online, you would need an account anyway so it seems logical.

If it goes on sale just wait half a day ,I'm sure it'll get mentioned :)

Looks like Cities XL 2011 is discounted already.

I can't confirm it yet but the account you use online in C&C4 is the same as your Origin account so it's likely.

Word on the street is that it is exceptional. The whole series.

I bought the warchest direct from the developer's shop a while back, and haven't gotten around to playing them yet. I did the tutorial on the first one, and enjoyed that, for what it's worth.

Also - I paid a lot more than this. The ones on the dev's site are DRM-free. It would be worth investigating whether the D2D versions are the same.
I have the second one, but I've only done one or two missions. You don't control individual units like in Warcraft or whatever, you have these squads, and they each have a few guys in them. Also, you can make a town, but I don't think you choose where the granary or armory or whatever is, you just "upgrade" your town to include that. I THINK. I can't quite remember.

I've only played Kohan 2, but it's still one of my favourite RTS.

It's got an interesting storyline, and it focuses more on tactics than on resource collection and base building, which is imo a good thing, but won't suit everyone. It also has heroes like Warcraft 3.
