I'd love to get it, but I hve like 14-16 bucks left, and I gotta hold out for what ever the Steam sale offers up...
I already got Prey from another recent D2D sale. I learned my lesson after they ran out of keys on Steam, so I bought it without hesitation.

Even better, after years of waiting Fallout 3 is finally mine! :'D
Anyone recommend which Version Left4Dead on Steam you need.
I do not intent to get both.
So I guess 2 is better.
Fallout 3 on D2D? Does it have the same restrictions as Oblivion on it?

I'm not sure of all the differences, because I've only played #2, but I can tell you this: The second one has AMAZING gore. Super shotgun carnage. You can do stuff like blow open the zombies ribcage while he's still moving.

Edit: Also, number 2 has melee weapons.

Double edit: This is for the 360 version but it talks about weapons and game modes, etc: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/100/1002529p1.html

No Fallout 3 is fine.

All I'll say is that #1 kept my attention long enough to complete all the original campaigns (and some of those more than once). #2 on other hand, I can't even complete one stage of a campaign before I'm fed up with it. It's just nowhere near as fun as the original was for me.

L4D2 has better graphics, a better selection of melee weapons, and well, a more advanced engine. And the L4D1 campaigns may or may not get ported to it, one already has.
The characters are arguably less likeable, though.

Personally, I hate the campaign endings in L4D2, but liked them in L4d.

They all are. The upcoming DLC will include the final 3. We may get Dead Air early, on the 22nd.
Hey guys remember when Valve said it wouldn't abandon L4D1?

Ha ha ha ha ha fuckers.
How much does the GTAIV complete cost by pounds?

Final 3? Well, there's Blood Harvest, Dead Air, Death Toll and Crash Course left to move over. So, is Crash Course not being ported then?

Don't know. They said "three." http://www.l4d.com/blog/post.php?id=5019

But they also mentioned all five. http://www.l4d.com/blog/post.php?id=5054
