Yeah, a game actually from them would be horrible :E
I'm glad I managed to get in before they ran out of keys :)
Still, such a strange situation. Gamestop, apparently known for it's massive second hand sales, not just actually instantly selling Steam Keys but .. the first ever to have steam activatable FO3 GOTY keys? And sell them worldwide for the same price?
Especially that last part I'm not so sure they were even allowed to do, it's very strange.
Then again since they did just buy Impulse, maybe they were simply trying to stick it to Steam in their own way doing that. It's Gamestop, they probably sell a load of steam games that Valve would rather not lose, yet at the same time, for gamestop, it simply means increased sales and less direct sales for a 'competitor'.
