Frozen Synapse at Steam, 20% off ends June 2nd at 10am Pacific Time.

Anyone here wants to buy a 2-pack with me, since it's 2 copies? Just PM me.

EDIT: Done, I've purchased the 2-pack with anaheim85, so you guys know you can trust both me and him. ;)

I'm considering it but just note it's 20% off at all participating DD stores right now (steam, impulse, gamersgate) including frozen synapse's site. In fact buy it off the frozen synapse site since they give you a drm-free version and a steam key.

Gah! I do hope they manage to bring Space Pirates and Zombies to Steam soon though, I know they're trying :(

Yes, VVVVVV is VERY good. It's like Super Meat Boy except more charming, shorter, and not quite as hard.

It's fun but you will die a LOT. Not recommended for angry players.

I bought it DRM free a while back for the same price.

I kinda want to double dip, but I wonder if I can get a free Steam key from the developer instead. :p

Has that ever worked for you? Because I double dip a lot.

The checkpoints are extremely generous. You usually won't lose more than 5-10 seconds progress per death, though there are exceptions.

I know. I did play through the entire game. That still doesn't mean you won't die a lot or struggle mightily to get to certain checkpoints

True. I spent over an hour trying to get the optional "VVV - Doing things the hard way" part. Failed. I'll probably go back to it someday - maybe after beating Super Meat Boy Dark World...
I found the difficulty of VVVVVV to be highly exaggerated. Still a fantastic game though.

Caveat: I didn't get that one medallion.

The Steam copy is kind of DRM free, if you find where steam hides the exe.

I don't know if compiled flash-based games have copy protection (That what I gather this is).

FWIW, the developer has some other games at kongregate. He had a kind of strange two player one, but I can't find a mention of it. Here's his site:
