Lawl, bought Patrician 3 for ~2.50 (with Great Art Race and ... Dark.. something) on Steam, and bought Port Royale 2 for 1.20 or something? Only other thing it has is Tortuga. Not worth the 30 euro difference by a long shot xD

Sweet game collection though :)

Pheace: Difference in tactic probably.

If you're a rusher, the game seems to be fine. If you're like me who likes to simply take my time, expand the kingdom, and watch your people grow and muck about, then apparently you simply get squished.
In fact I like to turtle a lot, I almost never rush. ;-)

That Gamepulse deal is a rip-off .

To be fair, there were a lot of complaints about this already long before Gamestop took over :)

The Steamworks games introduction so far has been the most apparent change I think, although he only change I care about is Stardock disconnecting from Impulse alltogether and putting their games on Steam (or Gog for all I care xD)

Edit: Ow it's you, didn't recognize the icon. Preaching to the choir then xD

In that case I should probably start it up again some time. Bought it when they introduced their last expansion :)

reaver894: Its free to download and play, if you want a boxed copy you would need to import for now.
So if I sign up online now I'd get a key to play it? I got the impression that you won't necessarily get a key unless selected (as it appears to still be in beta?)

Pheace: problem with f2p mmo's tends to be that they can be regionally restricted like hell, especially if they use different publishers EU/US/JP etc
I expect the likes of Expat Shield would help, but as Japan is selectable in their sign up form, I don't get the impression they are that bothered to restrict it. Of course, I haven't actually filled out the form yet, so I may still be wrong =/

I dont know if it would let you sign up online through the site as your not in the EU.

My other post is a bit missleading sorry. From What I gather if you want to play it from outside the EU you will need to import the boxed version.

Don't know yet. I'll try tomorrow, but it does offer selection of Japan as a location. Seems to me that if you can't sign up outside of the EU, it wouldn't be an option. Of course, it could just be lazy coding. But as it is, I like the sound of the boxed copy and the Amazon price is fairly cheap (so hopefully a good indication of what other places might sell it at)

Hey, nice page. Does it update automatically?

KavazovAngel: Hey, nice page. Does it update automatically?
Once I'm happy that the scripts that fetch the data are working correctly, they'll be set as a cron job so the new deal will be fetched automatically (starting tomorrow perhaps).

The page however, will not auto refresh when the timer hits zero. I might try to add that function later but javascript isn't really my domain so I'll have to read up/find some examples of a script that does that first.
Looks like todays Steam daily will be 18 Wheels of Steel American Long Haul -66%

Didn't see this one yet: Dragon Age 2 at Direct2Drive with 50% off.

Here is another one from EA: Sims Medieval 50% off for $24.99.

I think it's only valid for US residents, though. :(

EDIT: Disregard the following post, it's all done now.

Not exactly a deal (well sort of): I'm trying to gather people to buy a Terraria 4-pack. Smannesman and Kaliosmasteris are already interested.

I'll be doing the actual buying since the UK price is the lowest. At the UK price for a 4 pack (£17.99) it works out at ~£4.50 / $7.27 / €5.11 each. The $ and € prices might be slightly higher because Paypal uses unfair exchange rates.

It's $9.99 in the US and €9.99 in Europe so it's quite a saving, especially if you're in Europe.

PM me or post in the Terraria thread if you're interested.
