Luisfius: Due to a sequel being released, Fortix's price is now 1 dollar.

Looks like one of those "uncover the image" games I saw sometimes at the arcades, except not porn this time. Will check.
It's like the old game Qix - you're drawing boxes while attempting to not get hit by enemies while drawing them.

Missions will be like "Draw a box around the castle" or "Disable cannons by drawing a box around them."
DotEmu
Cossacks + Art of War + Back to War, Cossacks II + Battle for Europe & American Conquest + Fight Back for €9.97
EA's 50% off BOGO deal doesn't include pre-orders. Oh well.

Portal 2 is $29.99 though at bestbuy canada and bestbuy.ca this week.

I should warn for people to research the Steam forum board for Grotesque before purchasing, many people are having troubles with the game, including me who can't even get it to load.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking about it myself. Also I just found out that the US price is $4.50. :(

People expecting a change to Impulse policy after the GameStop takeover have been disappointed. If anything it's only gotten worse. Euro prices are higher and region restictions are tighter than ever before. Sure EA may be a fractured company but Bethesda? There is no legitamate reason why Brink should be restricted.

There's no legitimate reason for any of these to be restricted either:

But that's Impulse shite for you.

Yes, it's all part of their weekend deals: 50% off the Cossacks series, American Conquest, the Empire Earth series and the Ground Control series.

This is getting ridiculous. In this globalized world, we are supposed to pay almost 2.5 times more for the same digital product, distributed over the internet, just for having a European IP address or credit card number? No thanks, I'll just take my business elsewhere.

Shipping over the internets' oceans is an expensive business and in some cases isn't worth bothering to do. Europeans have long turned their backs on Impulse and Stardock returned the favor by no longer distributing their games physically in Europe.

I'm waiting for them to ditch Impulse and finally start distributing their games on other outlets(supposedly 1 year), hopefully steam, and *then* I'm gonna wait 6-12 months till a good sale to get Sins and Galactic Civilizations 2 etc >.>
