trusteft: I bought NFS HP for 15 euros a few months ago on another sale and...IMO it's not worth it.

Each race ends up being a version of Mario Kart without the turtle shells. You have an auto refilling nitro canister, which takes oh a couple of seconds to refill, and each race ends up with all kind of vehicles using nitro 95% of the time with flames coming out of the excaust pipe. IMO it's not a NFS game. It's a kart racing game with NFS looks.
You might as well get Blur or Split Second.

acare84: Thanks for the info. Then I will wait for another sale for it and buy it for $9.99. I am waiting Deathspank and Shank deals from Steam this week. I hope their price will go down %75 off.
You are very welcome.

Delixe: Jebus no, Blur and Split Second are rubbish in comparisson. Hot Pursuit isn't a NFS game you are right, it's a Burnout game.
I have only played the demo of Blur so I can't say more about that, but I own the PS3 version of Split Second and the PC version of NFS HP, and Split Second is a ton more fun and better overall game. It's not for everyone of course, but I like it a lot.

I'd buy NFS Shift for the USD 6,80 listed on Didimatic.

Not for USD10,20 listed on my STEAM account.

As usual, EA failed.

Yeah, I'm desperately trying to track down someone from Australia to transfer Paypal funds to so they can purchase on my behalf!

Aussies pay in USD?
avatar
Kabuto: Aussies pay in USD?
Yes, but the AU Steam store has cheaper prices than the US store.

That's what I meant to ask. So how's that possible. If you read the steam forum, Aussies constantly bitch and complain about high prices. What's the Aussie NFS Shift rate?

The canadian dollar is 1.05USD. After conversion and fees I could save as much as seven cents. Oh yeah.
