Rift is $10 off ($40) on Trion's web site through April 24th. Apparently you also get the title "The Soldier" and a 5% bonus XP trinket (good until level 20).

I've seen the game for this price or lower a few times since launch, and it's currently $35 on Amazon, so I wouldn't fret too much over passing it up.

Rift should be coming up on D2D in the next few days as part of their 30 days of deals.
My god... BF3 preorder half price for UK/EU? Not sure US, with the code I4250

25 Euro

Cheaper it seems actually, since it seems if you move away from the site while on the transaction and then come back it does some kind of 'do you still want to buy this' thing but then for 22.50 (half of 45).

Shame I already bought it @25 quickly in case it was an error but still sweet :) Supposedly the code is from some kind of LAN party in the UK.

I grabbed it for £20 along with Shank and Shift using this deal:

No idea if it works with the EU store. But the possibility of a free copy of Bulletstorm isn't such a bad thing either way.
Civilization V is $29.97 on D2D:

I think you can also apply the 25% off thing and get it for around $22.50. I'm not sure about the pricing and stuff in other countries.
Yep, I can confirm that GamersGate's Metro 2033 activates on Steam. Not sure why the boxart has the Games for Windows banner, but it's not even on GFWL from the looks of it.

My friend's brother bought it during the holiday Steam sales for $10 (75% off when it was still $40) and loved it. I've been waiting to get a good deal on it since then, having to pass on it in favor of the many other deals at the time. Can't vouch for it personally, but his brother played through it several times over a week or two, so it's probably worth $5.

Just a marketing stuff. To specift that it is a game for Windows. :p :)

EDIT: Most PC games tend to have Games for Windows on the retail boxes.

Games for Windows just means it meets several requirements made by Microsoft. I know two of them are that it runs on Windows Vista and that it supports the 360 controller.
So if Steam had an Easter Sale, when would it be?

About an hour ago. Seems safe to say there isn't one.

I would have thought we'd have seen it by now.
Now the proud owner of Civ 5 thanks to a kind UK friend :)
