carnival73: A few things that I would like from here but still waiting to hear something back about a return issue I submitted to them on March 10th.

Smannesman: Din's Curse looks like a nice deal for 7 bucks.
I'd only contemplate it if you get a working serial like for Warband, where you can download the latest version from the developers site and enter the serial to unlock it.
Well I just inspected the two that I wanted.

GamersGate also has the expansion pack for Din's Curse, Impulse doesn't so if I were to get the Impulse copy, I'd never be able to get the expansion.

and $10 is GG's standard price for Northland.

I've also tried Kivi's Underworld and Depths of Peril and Din's is the best of the three IMO.

I wish this were the case. I would be all over this deal if so. Sadly, I don't think you can download the full version from the developer site and unlock it with a key, as people on the forums mention losing access to their download (which the dev fixes ofc).

Bah. Have wanted Din's for so long, but backlog and knowing I probably wouldn't finish makes it hard to buy full price at this time. Don't really want an Impulse copy either. Not so much with the Gamestop stuff, but I am simply not a fan of the service to start with and the expansion is missing there as well.

By the way, that's the cool (or uncool depending on how you see it) thing about Din's Curse. There is no endgame, and you can play it in quick bursts or long stretches.

I got a working full game when I used the steam's key with the "demo" from Taleworlds website. Am I misunderstanding something here?

EDIT. Nevermind, you guys were talking about Din's Curse. I'm gonna go and buy better glasses now...

Totally off-topic, but I hate region restrictions. Why they even exist? Isn't the easy access the whole point of digital downloads?
Quick, slightly off-topic but related, question.
Is there a way to purchase GamersGate games in dollars for Europeans?
I logged in when the prices were in dollars, but when I went to checkout it went back to euros again.
Proof that Ubisoft's DRM was a resounding success! Splinter Cell: Conviction £2.98 from GAME UK store but I believe they ship to Europe.

Best bet may be to paypal someone in the US the money for it, and have them gift it to you.

It's not in a publisher's interest to lose their retail support (sales+advertising) by selling their games so cheap online retailers won't be able to compete and thus, won't bother stocking their games.

Even though its arse is the size of an industrial skip due to the DRM I may get this.

Edit: oh the always online DRM, sod that, ill have a look to see if it can be bypassed and get it if it can.
