I wouldn't compare it to the Princess Maker series. Developers have taken some influence from it, but it's a different kind of game.

And the Mass 2 deal now includes Cerberus Network and a fair amount of DLC :)

Only for yourself it seems. Not if the game is gifted. It's rather all poorly written and I would imagine is going to cause a lot of complaints.

What I originally suspected I guess. To make people who didn't buy ME2 and got the game gifted have to purchase all the DLC.

So...If one has already registered a Mass 2 before (and got the Cerberus Network) and now gets this code, the network that comes with it is useless, since it's tied to the DA2 account? What? Confused knee here, beware!

That seems to be the case yes. The DLC which pretty much everyone has already is useless while the new player will have to pay the $15 for the DLC.

How hard is it for these companies to post actual deals. I mean come on, almost all of those games have been on sale within the last few months. I am so tired of seeing the same 10 games on sale every other damn week.

I with you on that 100% . It's pretty annoying.

The problem is that unlike B&M stores, digital ones have to get the permission of the rights holder to discount a game. Most don't want to do that and only a handful apparently readily agree to the same old titles getting discounts. Which is bad for everyone really as there's only so many people out there who buy a specific game and most of those games have probably long since reached that ceiling.
