Delixe: Looks like I wasn't the only one to buy The Precursors from Beamdog. From twitter:
@Beamdoging: "OH GOD OH GOD WE'RE SO SORRY. The Precursors has sold out! A digital game, selling out!?!?! Well, we ran out of keys from the publisher."
This happens, apart from steam with its own key system most distributors get their keys from the publisher. It's somewhat surprising that they don't have the sale go through and offer a refund for those that don't want to wait for the key to arrive.
It's a problem that Mr. Gog has from time to time as well. But unlike most other retailers it typically just affects the online portion of game play.
Mamutte: Game give away of the day:
King's Smith 2 carnival73: This looks like a really awesome game but there is a time limit to activate. What happens if I format and month from now and have to re-install?
It is kind of fun, although I'm not sure what the replay value is going to be on it. But, I'd like to see that question answered as well as the last time I got a game in this fashion I received a key.
