U mean, if i choose "no download warranty" option, i will allowed download games 1 time only? After i get my games, i can't download them anymore?

Did you buy them directly from Strategy First? If not then you probably got a better deal. I know calling DRMed games rentals is very tired by now, but when you have to pay to redownload your purchases then I think it's more than justified.

Basically that deal is only good if you want to try out all those games and don't mind rebuying them from elsewhere if you happen to like them.
This is some kind of joke? With most sites you don't have warrancy you'll be able to download games forever but here (I mean at Strategy First) you have warrancy you won't be able to download it again? This is wonderful strategy. I think I love this site.

You get a fixed period to download it in. After that you have to pay more. I think that's regardless of whether or not you even downloaded it at all within that time period.

It's a Digital River thing. But companies like EA and Telltale use Digital River and they don't have any such limits. But nonetheless, I advise caution when buying from other stores. If you're not sure then just ask in the forums here and see what the deal is.
This is actually a fairly common practice for online shops such as these, especially those powered by Digital River and Primus I believe. I remember seeing this at other publisher sites in the past, including THQ and Ubisoft. No idea if those publishers have changed since, but I have definitely seen this practice with other big name people.

So long as they are not forcefully tied to the service, which I imagine is the case, just back them up and good to go without paying an extra fee. Although with Strategy First, I'd honesty be a bit wary but that is just me. No particular reason other than gut feeling.

I'll ask, that's for sure. I don't use a lot of online stores and don't want to use new ones so I won't encounter it often and now I'll be even more careful.
Is somewhere stated for how long you can download it? The first option says "No downlaod warrancy", it looks like you'll be lucky to download it at least once.
When other sites using Digital River doesn't have such restriction how is it Digital River thing? It looks more like Startegy First idiotness thing to me.

Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum just went up on Steam €9.99. If you haven't bought it yet, now is the time.

You should find details on how long a period you're able to download it for in the FAQ.

As for Digital River, the limits are standard with them,. Chances are that publishers normally would host the games on DR's servers and that's why there's a limit. If so then EA and Telltale may host the games themselves. But that's just a guess.

Its Strategy First's doing. Microsoft also use Digital River, and you can redownload Office or Windows whenever you like.

Hey, I'm not excusing Strategy First here. My condemnation for them goes beyond download limits anyway. It is their doing insomuch as to say they didn't bother trying to get a better deal for their customers. But Digital River is where those restrictions come from in the first place.
