Pheace: After reading their forums I have no desire to buy anything from Impulse except the stuff I really cannot somewhere else. (like Sins and Galactic Civilizations)

Was pretty disappointed overall when I got to play it for a while. Mostly felt very shallow, so I'm gonna wait till it's very very cheap before getting it :)

Besides, waiting for a sale is half the fun xD
Gamersgate is now running a 60% off sale on Mount & Blade Warband, does anyone know if this one can be registered on Steam as well?
Get 20% discount on any SEGA game on GamersGate except Shogun 2 with discount code: "LoveSEGA"

You sure about that? It's on the list of 3rd party retail keys accepted from Steam's website. Though I actually bought mine from Steam (at a better rate than that, too) so I didn't get to test the registration thing for that one.

Bear in mind that list is for retail copies. As such some digital copies cannot be registered.
Hm. Didn't think about it that way before. I wonder.

I think you may be right though, since according to the Steam M&B forums, Steam gives out 5x5 keys whereas Taleworlds gives out and accepts 4x4 keys for their website login/download etc. I'm not sure which one GamersGate gives out - if they're 5x5 keys, they can be registered on Steam and can also be converted into 4x4 ones with a tool on the TaleWorlds website. If they're 4x4 ones, then no registration on Steam as no converter the other way. Hm.
HOORAY!!!!!!!

(Oddboxx bundle released on Gamersgate, and FIFTY PERCENT OFF!)

And deciding whether to buy it when it is on sale is the other half ;)

Wait, Much's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath are DRM-free, but the two older aren't?

Might as well get them here and them buy the other two separately later.

Though, there's a chance the others might show up here tomorrow, according to another thread.

As for Mount & Blade, As far as I know, Steam gave out 5x5 keys when it actually ran out of keys during a sale, and then Taleworlds updated the Steam version to accept those. But I bought it on another sale when they still had keys, and my key is 4x4. So, I suppose the 5x5 keys are actually wrong, and GamersGate will probably hand out 4x4 keys.

Of course, I can't be sure.
I believe I saw a few threads on the Steam M&B forums (I'm no longer there to check) of successful Steam activations of retail copies though. But yeah, there's no thread about a direct GG -> Steam thing so no idea on this case in particular. If anyone happens to have M&B on GamersGate, whether you plan to activate it on Steam or never do so, you could probably solve it by saying if your key is in a 4x4 or 5x5 format. :P

Also, are MMO type deals in the spirit of this thread I wonder? I get a couple promotional mails from a couple MMOs (anyone can probably figure out which from my post history) re: their microtransactions or point bundle deals.

Edit to Drago below so as not to make a new post: Ooh thanks for the info! It crashed my system when I tried it from the direct d/l when the Humble Bundle first came up, but looked neat, hopefully on Steam it'll be better. :)

Also, I 'd like to point out that Revenge of the Titans is now on Steam (10% off for now).

According to the developers, Valve is sorting out the game for those who got it with the Humble Indie Bundle, and it should pop up on our accounts when it's ready.
