stonebro: Waiting on Napoleon to be discounted. Doesn't look like it will be though.
Either that or Empire. One more day left.

Wasn't Empire discounted on the first day?

Jup.. But it's very cheap on D2D (US) right now.. All of them actually! Even the utra-duper-mega-edition of Empire is cheap ($17.50 i think).

And i guess the "hangover"-coupon works so thats an extra 20%. Nice. :D

And, of course; these versions will register on steam.

eyeball226: Just got Deus Ex 1+2 for £5 from Amazon.co.uk and just has an old fashioned disc check.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Deus-Ex-Complete-PC-DVD/dp/B002FL50UM/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1299948087&sr=8-6

Deus Ex 1+2 costs £9.99 on Steam and £17.95 on GamersGate. Deus Ex GOTY on it's own costs £5.99 on Steam and £8.99 on GamersGate. The Steam version is obviously SteaDRM'd and the GamersGate version has securom activation. All in all, it's a great deal on Amazon.

Roberttitus: Yes I do. I'm just saying that you don't have to go through the bullshit that comes with using it
avatar
eyeball226: I've never noticed any bullshit. I just GOG-ify my dosbox games (just a desktop shortctut), no need for any extra programs...
He means that if you're setting up a DOSBox game from scratch, there is some diddling around with configuration files before hand.

Pheace: Medieval 2 today, sadly without expansion again
avatar
KavazovAngel: Does the expansion ever go on sale?
I got TWM2 + Expansion for $10 at GamersGate. Last I looked they had a permanent mark down on it.

Sorta - It shows as $10 USD for me but that 10 might be universal through all the currencies.

I just copy the default one and just change what I need to change, which is hardly anything.

Good for you. Not everybody is capable of figuring that kind of shit out though. D-fend Reloaded is about a thousand times easier & helps you keep track of your games at that.

You know what's funny?

I couldn't figure out D-fend Reloaded! It made no sense to me! ^^;

All you do is open the program & drag the game folder into the big open area where Dosbox is listed. It is super simple.

My point was, don't get angry if people say stuff to you because you use it. I use Dosbox with command lines, ini files, batch files, and so on, but I couldn't understand D-fend. I have lots of problems with stuff like that... maybe simple is too complicated for me. :p

Who said I was angry (besides you)? I'm not angry in the slightest... I'm just saying that for somebody who has no knowledge of that kind of shit (like the person I was originally responding to before everybody got there pretty pink panties in a bunch because they actually know how/have the patience to), D-Fend is much easier & is as simple as clicking & dragging. Believe me... no anger here.
