Steam weekend deal is an Ubisoft pack of Assassin's Creed, Call of Juarez 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Far Cry 2 Fortunes Edition for €12.99.

mehall: Site seems to be slightly broken atm, can't go past checkout. :/
I just tweeted them about it, hopefully they'll fix it soon.
The coupon works now.

I kinda want that Ubisoft pack. But... I already have Assassin's Creed. :(

KneeTheCap: They're still making pokemon games? I thought that brand died a long time ago...
avatar
Damuna: ...Are you joking?

I'm just going to link you to this.
Wow...I'm quite embarrassed now..I really did think that they we're gone already...

But to my defence, I haven't seen much of pokemon here in Finland lately, so I thought it was a global phenomenon :D

Why is Sid Meier's Railroads considered an RPG but Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI is not?!

I was going state in my original announcement that they only had about five pages worth of games on offer and only one page full were actual RPGs. lol

They've got Tropico 3 listed as an RPG too.

In all honesty, I don't it's 20% off RPGs but moreso 20% off games that they're having a hard time moving. XD

They obviously think it's a Rail Playing Game.

Hahahahaha +1
I'm considering getting East India Company on Impulse since it's under £3 when using the SURVEY2010 code (that still hasn't expired yet)

However: Impulse is a site I don't have an account with and I'd prefer not to have to install another crappy download manager just to access my game.

I'm unlikely to play the game for more than 20mins, then leave it for a few months, as I have tons of games to play through just now:

Would I be better off waiting for a Steam sale, or perhaps a better game, since I know some aren't fans?

It's a pretty good game in its own right. But by the sounds of it it's hardly worth you getting it really.

The problem with Stardock is just like Steam, if their site ever goes down your game is just some useless 4 gig file that you backed up to disk.

But I have a few games with Stardock and because the downloads are quick and clean the client works as it should, I'm not shy to buy from them from time to time.

The worse time I've had is with Greenman Gaming's client because you literally have to keep checking up on it while it's downloading as it keeps interupting and pausing itself. The end result is 4+ gigs fragmented file on your drive that defrag software can't defrag.

Because of this I don't even download their free games - I rather keep good house keeping on my hard drive.

orcishgamer: Black and White sold over 2 million units in Japan alone, on launch day. That's not exactly a dead brand.
And to put that into a better perspective, a game is generally considered a success if it ships around 100,000 units in the first week of release.

Any of them offer turn-based combat? I mean, besides the Fallout games?

This one and it looks to already be on sale so take another 20% off of that

By the by, D2D has a secondary 15% off sale.

GetGamesGo

also has some new deals http://www.getgamesgo.com/

They are not client dependent, once you find the download folder you can back the whole game up to disk but you are still subject to the games' publishers' DRM.
