carnival73: I think if Onlive were to take on more of a monthly payment plan they would do better as the site does allow people to play games that normally are too powerful for their systems but there is no actual ownership of anything when it comes to Onlive's games.
They also do have a monthly payment plan system for X number of games, but I haven't looked recently on what extra games have been added.

Ah, here it is. Most of the indie games if not all are in the list.

I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that model though, even though I do subscribe to MMOs (though my main one is lifetime account so I guess I don't really spend much on it).

KavazovAngel: Trackmania United Forever 50% off @ GamersGate

PincushionMan: Hey, thanks for the tip. It's $20 here. First time I've seen it go this low. I think even the Steam sale had it for $30.

So, It's an Ubisoft published title - what's the copy protection like? UbiDRM or Nadeo-login based? The GG page doesn't mention anything.
Online account (not tied to a platform) for achievements / stats / points. You can use an offline account to play the game without internet.

That's for Trackmania Nations Forever (the free game), but I think its the same for this one too (since basically TUF is the full game).

Mamutte: $3,59 for Arx Fatalis, worth it?
avatar
chautemoc: Very much so if you like oldschool RPGs, especially with the source code just released..should see some sweet mods before too long.
I can second this! We should see some intersting stuff with this in the future.
Besides I am really not an RPG guy, though Fallout is my Fav. But Arx has something special to it.

PS: I was going to buy it for $6!!! but GOG made a Sale before I could do it.

Navagon: Steam: 50% off the best horror game ever.
Oh shoot!
One day earlier and I've would got it.
So was looking at Spellforce Universe, anyone think its worth it, or better to just go with Spellforce Plat. and just forget Spellforce 2 Gold is even there?
Retail UK: Lost Planet 2 £5.86

RPS: "It’s often visually extraordinary, even by current gen standards. But it is a game you should wait to be on sale before you point your credit nozzle in its direction."

Well, that looks like a sale price to me.

Yeah, the developer seems to have an unfortunate habit of missing sales like that.

I did a search on both versions on the forums, and most people say spellforce 2 is a improvement over spellforce 1.

... are there any people on Steam that don't own this yet?

All those Humble Bundles must've made a dent in that number...
God I hated Braid. Pretentious nonsense.

While I didn't exactly hate it, that was one of two games that were highly regarded and recommended that I just didn't enjoy very much. The other was Torchlight.

I was the same with Torchlight as well. Waited months for it to pop up on a sale and then didn't see what all the fuss was about. It's better than Braid though. Not sure why I hated it, it was probably just a combination of things. Actually no I think it was the art style. It was trying way too hard to be beautiful and different and just came across as pretentious and ugly. IMO of course.
I'm probably one of the few that doesnt in fact own Braid. Just doesnt look all that great to me. Though i have to say i have enjoyed Torchlight a lot since it released.

That was my reaction, too.

EDIT: To be fair, I should add that I'm not sorry I tried it. I just couldn't enjoy it.
