The-Business: New company in the catalog: Sonalysts, e.g. Fleet Command, Sub Command, Dangerous Waters, 668(I) Hunter Killer
Amazing hardcore modern sub simulators. Sub Command and Dangerous Waters are a bit glitchy in Steam over Windows 10 and/or ATI cards.
I hope GOG release the games with some kind of fix because they deserve it and it would be a very good reason to purchase them here.

Running the games with a wrapper solves the possible issues, though

There is also a problem of rights after the original Jane's version and the later Sonalist version, I presume, regarding the lack of the original FMVs in Fleet Command. It rus flawesly under D3D and 3DFX via wrapper.

Surpringsily the older Hunter Killer is the game running better out of the box.

Exciting and amazing new simulators, indeed.

Have you tried Zoom's versions of those? They might work better but I wouldn't know. They have Fleet Command and 688, too.

And now for something a little different:

The digital edition of the currently crowdfunding The Witcher: Ronin manga looks like it's going to get a DRM-free release on GoG in early 2022.

First time GOGalaxy has given any benefit.

bluethief: Apparently a couple of Star Trek games:

https://www.pcgamesn.com/gog-star-trek
Today is the 55th anniversary of Star Trek's first episode. Would be great if that would coincide with the release of the games. ;-)

There's definitely some activity going on in Galaxy.

I noticed that Starfleet Command 3 now has screenshots. It didn't have any before, it was basically a blank entry, except for the description which had been copied-and-pasted from igdb's entry for Orion Pirates.

The other games also got new screenshots, as far as I can make out.

No Armada 1 or 2 on there though. But their Galaxy pages look suspiciously well prepared. Let's hope these are comjng along too at some point, those are two of the most important games of my gaming life.
So does this mean that there are will be no new (or at least new to GOG) RPGs coming out this week for RPG month, when the "Fantasy week" ends later this morning?

If there were new RPGs coming, then you guys who find leaked info would have noticed that by now, wouldn't you have?

Next scheduled RPG release I'm aware of should be ATOM RPG: Trudograd on the 13th of September.
Unless of course GoG picks up the pace, starts fulfilling on their promised "constant stream of RPG releases" and surprises us by releasing some or even better, all of the following:
Dungeon Master series, Phantasie series, Questron series, Magic Candle series, Aeon of Sands: The Trail, Dragon Lore 2, Konung 3, Shannara, Death Gate, Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok, UnReal World, Sorcery!, Descent to Undermountain, Asghan the Dragonslayer, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Zanzarah The Hidden Portal, Dink Smallwood, Knights of the Temple I+II, Realms of Antiquity, the "Geister" trilogy (Geisterschiff, Geisterturm, Geisterjäger), Cybermage: Darklight Awakening, the rest of the Space Rangers series, Dark Earth, The Wheel of Time, Veil of Darkness, Prince of Qin, Seal of Evil, etc
