It's a prologue, but as far as I know, it won't be permanent on GOG. There are demos or prologues that end up being removed from the store.

Not sure i consider it "Triple A" but it surely is one of the graphically best Horror Adventures (or Horror/RPG Shooter like Alien Isolation, not sure yet) and now even free and basically DRM free... so i was "catching" it on the EGS account.

The Callisto Protocol is one of the games I wanted to play for purely sentimental reasons. I've heard very bad reviews of the game, though. Still, I'm not one to pay much attention to reviews. I've played titles with lousy reviews that didn't deserve them as they were very good games from my own experience. So I'll play it to see how true they are. A hug!

Reviews can be very misleading, because your personal taste plays the biggest role by far. Sometimes the public is not even able to see a certain quality because their mind has been numbed by either hype or very destructive ratings for a flaw that might not be critical to you°°° (bad translations for example, or very demanding PC specs required). So, it may be able to show some hint but every review will have to be investigated closely, else it is useless.

Regarding Callisto Protocol, it does not even need a "Command Line Argument", it will start everywhere on every PC as soon as fully installed, so basically DRM free. However... it is demanding on a PC with full settings, probably top 10 of the most demanding games, along with Cyberpunk and Witcher 3 (with full RT enabled). Sure, settings can always become lowered but the graphics simply will be weaker (and this is a strong spot of this game).

Still free on EGS.

°°° There was even a bad rating because for someone the game was crashing on startup: It was unable to compile the shaders. This process can take a while and it is pretty demanding; some PCs may even fail doing it because not sufficiently stable (the CPU load will be almost 100% for a longer period) or perhaps even simply with to weak specs. Personally i had no issues at all, the game works properly, although i got a good PC.
